ROTAX JUNIOR SPORT CLASS WITH PRAGA KARTS! LOW-COST INTERNATIONAL ARRIVE AND DRIVE RACES

Thanks to the partnership between Praga Kart and Rotax, the Rotax Junior Sport Class is born. A new concept in karting aimed firmly at the youngest talent, introducing a class in which to compete at low costs, with the best material and in a context of absolute prestige such as Rotax Euro Challenge races.

Starting from this season, the Rotax Junior Sport Class joins the other “traditional” classes in the Rotax Max Euro Challenge championship. The promoter is still RGMMC, which will work closely with IPKarting (Praga, Formula K, OK1). The manufacturer will not only provide works chassis to all participants, it will also be present at the races with its own organisation, which will transport all the material from one track to the other and provide technical support during racing weekends.

Indeed, the formula for the new class is “arrive and drive”; meaning: the organisation handles transportation, setting-up and the preparation of everything the drivers need to allow them to concentrate solely on driving. As mentioned, the goal is to involve youngsters who are looking for a simpler and more affordable way to take part in the world of international karting competition. That’s not all: the philosophy behind the initiative is to give everyone identical and competitive material, in order to guarantee fun, entertainment and, above all, promote everyone’s true talent.

The kart used in this specific class provides simplified management, which is ideal for less experienced mechanics, to enable the fathers or best friends of the young drivers to work as their mechanics.

The cost is set at 3,900 Euros per race (excluding any replacements for parts damaged in accidents).

Upon registration, each participant will receive exactly the same material, consisting of:

-Inscription fee

-Thursday Practice day ticket

-complete kart

-Engine

-Awning space

-Tool box

-Fuel

-2 Sets of slick tires for free practice

-2 Sets of wet tires for free practice

-2 Sets of wet tires for racing

-2 Sets of slick tires for racing

While it is an opportunity not to be missed by any kart drivers, for Praga the initiative is of fundamental strategic importance, representing the first ring in a chain designed to accompany drivers from their entry into the world of motorsport (in the Rotax Junior Sport class, of course) through to their debuts in single-seater competition.
